What it does
Zool.io is an experimental trend-following bot on altcoins. Once a day it buys the altcoins breaking out to new highs on strong volume, sells them when they turn down from their peak or to make room for a stronger breakout, and stays in BTC or in cash while BTC is in a downtrend. Most trades lose a little; a few big winners in alt seasons pay for all of them.
What it is for
Play money only. A bad year can cut the account in half, and most of the backtest gain comes from two alt seasons. For real savings, Veem.io is the right tool: same author, same discipline, much lower risk.
How these numbers are computed
Backtest on Binance daily candles since 2017, delisted coins included, 0.15% paid on every trade. Sharpe is (CAGR − 4%) / volatility. Win Rate is the share of positive days, not of winning trades.
